Have you ever experienced a shave from a straight razor? Shaving with a straight razor results in an extremely close shave that results in a face that stays smoother longer. Straight razors have become more and more popular among today’s modern man, and traditionalists across the world are rejoicing in the resurgence and interest in straight razors. A straight razor will not only allow today’s modern man to adopt the shaving habits of their forefathers, but will also teach him the lost art of honing and stropping a straight razor to obtain the perfect edge.
Our Damascus is hand forged with combinations of 1095 High Carbon and 4340 High Tensile Steel forming over 144 to 288 layers. We oil quench and temper to a hardness of 57-58 Rockwell C.

Are your blades made to be used or just display
Every item in our shop is made to be used. We use 1095 HC and 4340 HT steels in our damascus steel and quench and temper it to 58 HRc.
Custom and personalized orders
We can customize any blade. the charge for engraving is $20 per side and it takes us 2 days to fulfil that requirement.

Unfortunately my razor arrived very damaged. It was cracked along the Damascus fold leading me to believe it was a forging issue. The scales were also miss-aligned so that the blade didn’t close properly. The edge was pretty raw. Even with a 3 stone sharpening process it was nowhere near shave ready sharp. The spine is badly designed as well and cuts into sharpening stones. Overall this is purely a decorative piece and was damaged anyways so not great for that as well. I messaged the seller before posting a review and the seller promised to replace it then ghosted me and didn’t reply anymore. Had to escalate to Etsy directly and was issued a refund.

Still shaves pretty rough after repeated honings. I suspect this is more of a looker than a user.
