INTRODUCING..... HOMETOWN DAMASCUS RINGS!
As you know we are knife makers, but this is not the first time we are getting into jewelry related product. On custom requests we have made pendants and rings and have decided to offer them here on ETSY. Our Damascus is known to hold an edge and be displayed as an art piece, so we are experimenting using it on rings.
Our rings are hand crafted and forged to a 1" Damascus Rod with twist and/or fire patterns consisting of minimum 288 layers of 4340HT and 1080 HC. We temper them to a hardness of 57 to 58HRC similar to our blades. The rings are ground by hand and mirror polished. Those interested, can also request rough finish if that's what you
like.
*** We will do our best to keep popular sizes in stock. In case we don't have it in stock, it will take us at least 2.5-3 weeks to deliver. You are also welcome to place custom orders for any of these rings***
Shipment:
For customers outside the US; Recommend using DHL, UPS or FedEx as you will be able to track the package to destination. It will be more expensive, although reliable. USPS can also be used for shipment, but you can only track it up to customs.

Applying a light layer of oil on the blade helps against corrosion.
Are your blades made to be used or just display
Every item in our shop is made to be used. We use 1095 HC and 4340 HT steels in our damascus steel and quench and temper it to 58 HRc.
Custom and personalized orders
We can customize any blade. the charge for engraving is $20 per side and it takes us 2 days to fulfil that requirement.
